Many websites that talk about the problems with freelancing highlight the importance of self-promotion of work. Many freelancers become so involved with projects that they forget to continue to market themselves. This is where my website provides a solution. Due to my site covering designers globally, at random, this increases the chances of freelancers being discovered. A lot of clients have searched for freelancers nearby so are already aware of who’s around them. Globally, there is the potential to discover someone completely culturally new.

Another aspect I would like to explore is the importance of offline networking too. If I could integrate a method to promote offline networking for freelancers too such as conferences and events all over the world that they could attend this would really encourage valued relationships.
